Therapy intensives are an accelerated, immersive approach to growth and healing. Rather than attending weekly sessions over several months, you spend a focused block of time working closely with a therapist, allowing you to dig deep, process complex emotions, and make meaningful progress in a shorter period.
These intensives provide a dedicated, distraction-free space to prioritize you. Here, you can step away from the daily grind and focus entirely on your healing and wellbeing.
What's Included:
Free 20-Minute Consultation
Before we begin, we’ll connect for a brief phone consultation to ensure an intensive is the right fit for you. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, learn more about the process, and get clarity on what to expect. If it feels like a good match, we’ll schedule your pre-intensive meeting and you’ll receive a few assessments to complete online. These help me better understand your current emotional landscape and any factors that may affect your postpartum experience.
Pre-Intensive Meeting (90 Minutes)
Our work begins with a 90-minute session to explore your goals, concerns, and hopes for the postpartum period. We’ll review your history, identify potential risk factors for perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs), and begin building a roadmap for your individualized intensive. This conversation sets the foundation for your personalized plan and ensures the experience is tailored completely to you.
Customized Intensive Kit
Before your Intensive, you’ll receive a curated kit delivered to your door filled with tools, handouts, and resources based on what we discussed in your pre-intensive session. Every item is selected to help you deepen the work and integrate what you learn during our time together.
3-Hour Intensive Session
This is our deep-dive session: an immersive, therapeutic experience designed to meet you exactly where you are. We’ll explore education around PMADs relevant to your personal history and focus on the areas that matter most to you, which may include:
• Managing anxiety, intrusive thoughts, or OCD symptoms
• Working through guilt, shame, or identity shifts
• Building emotional regulation skills for you and your baby
• Learning practical coping tools and self-care strategies
• Strengthening your support system and sense of confidence
You’ll leave this session with insight, tools, and a personalized plan for emotional wellness during your postpartum journey.
Post-Intensive Check-In (90 Minutes)
Once you’ve had time to apply what you learned, we’ll meet again for a 90-minute follow-up to reflect, adjust, and expand. This is your space to share what’s working, what feels challenging, and what additional support or resources might help you continue to thrive.
