Kailynn Klepfer, LCSW-S, CCTP

Kailynn Klepfer, LCSW-S, CCTP obtained her Master’s Degree in Social Work at University of Nevada, Las Vegas and has 10 years of experience as a Licensed Social Worker. Kailynn has experience treating working professionals who need help setting boundaries, decreasing anxiety or depression, or improving work-life balance, perfectionism, and/or relationships. Kailynn most recently worked in one of the biggest hospital systems in Houston and enjoys helping professionals so they can ultimately enjoy their time outside of work. 

Kailynn also supports new moms who may be struggling with postpartum depression, anxiety, or struggling with their identity and juggling multiple roles since motherhood. Many of the moms Kailynn treats struggle with feelings of guilt and feelings of inadequacy or shame. Kailynn has experience working with women struggling with infertility or pregnancy loss. Kailynn utilizes her Certification as a Clinical Trauma Professional to treat adults who have experienced traumatic events or have insecure attachment styles.

Kailynn is well-versed in many approaches so that she can serve your unique needs. The techniques she most often utilizes are derived from CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, Self-Compassion, and trauma-informed approaches, including sensorimotor (mind-body) techniques. Kailynn’s trauma approach emphasizes psychoeducation, emotion regulation, symptom stabilization, and avoiding retraumatizing clients.

Kailynn focuses on building a relationship with her clients and making them feel as comfortable as possible in sessions. Kailynn recognizes how difficult it can be to start therapy and work towards change. She will work with you at a pace you are comfortable with to meet your goals. Kailynn is here to support you and help you make the changes you want. Kailynn will work with you to accomplish your goals and do so in a way that feels realistic for you.

Kailynn is passionate about working alongside individuals to improve their overall well-being and quality of life, in addition to decreasing mental health stigma in communities. In her free time, Kailynn enjoys spending time with her family and friends and doing Les Mills exercises, especially Body Combat.
