Kailynn Klepfer
LCSW-S, CCTP

Hi, I’m Kailynn, and I’m really glad you’re here.
I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and have 12 years of experience as a Licensed Social Worker. I also supervise and mentor new graduates as they work toward clinical licensure.
A significant part of my practice centers on supporting new moms navigating postpartum depression, anxiety, and the identity shifts that come with motherhood. Many of the women I work with experience guilt, shame, and overwhelm as they strive to be the best mothers they can be, yet often feel like they’re falling short. As a mother myself, I understand how intense and complex this transition can be. I bring both clinical expertise and lived experience into our work together, and I feel honored to support women during this meaningful season of life.
I also work with adults who feel overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, depression, perfectionism, and relationship challenges. Prior to opening my private practice, I supported healthcare professionals at Memorial Hermann in Houston, which gave me a deep understanding of burnout and the pressures many working healthcare professionals face.
I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and use a trauma-informed approach with all my clients. I draw from CBT, DBT, mindfulness, self-compassion, and mind–body techniques to calm the nervous system, always working at a pace that feels safe and supportive.
I believe therapy works best when you feel comfortable, understood, and supported. I strive to create a warm, judgment-free space and collaborate with clients to meet meaningful, realistic goals. My practice welcomes a variety of payment options, including many insurance plans such as Aetna and United Healthcare, as well as private pay.
I am the author of Wild or Tame, I Love You the Same, a children’s book inspired by both my work with mothers and my own experience with my daughter. The book serves as a reminder to both parents and children that love remains steady, even when we show up imperfectly, and helps children feel safe navigating big emotions.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, soaking up the sunshine (when it’s not 100+ degrees!), walking my dog, and playing pickleball!
